16 people including 14-year-old to appear in court following major Dublin probe
They have been charged with 62 offences including, burglary, theft, criminal damage, robbery and unauthorised taking of a vehicle.A total of 16 people are set to appear in court this morning.
Gardai arrested a number of people as part of a comprehensive investigation into individuals in north Dublin engaging in targeted property crime and profiting from criminal activities. A total of 16 persons (13 males and 3 females) aged from 14 to 55 years old have been charged with 62 offences.
They are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (CCJ), Cloverhill District Court, Swords and Balbriggan District Court and Dublin Children’s Court today at 10:30am. A Garda spokesman said: “Over recent weeks a number of arrest operations were carried out in the DMR North Division by Gardaí in the Coolock and Raheny districts.
“As part of the current investigative phase of Operation Thor, a total of 16 persons (13 males and 3 females) aged from 14 to 55 years old have been charged with 62 offences, including, burglary, theft, criminal damage, robbery and unauthorised taking of a vehicle. This is an active and ongoing operation.”
