ANOTHER inmate has been found dead in Cloverhill Prison – just two days after 43-year-old Martin Salinger was found dead in a cell.

The prisoner was discovered dead in a cell this morning in the Dublin penitentiary.Officials from The Irish Prison Service explained the cause of death will be determined by the Coroner’s Office.

They shared their condolences to the deceased’s family and friends.

Gardai, the Inspector of Prisons and the Irish Prison Service will carry out the investigation.

A spokesperson said: “The Irish Prison Service can confirm that there was a death of a person in the custody of Cloverhill Prison on 7th October 2024.
