He has been doing the job over the past week and was selected because he’s regarded as “posing no threat” to staff.

Lynn is in the first year of the five-and-a-half-year sentence he got for stealing from six different banks and financial institutions.The fraudster is currently being held in the progression unit due to his status as a model prisoner.

This status means he could also be moved to an open prison next year to help ease the overcrowding issue at the jail.
