Foreigner Ahmed Abdirahman, faced his second hearing when he appeared via video link at Cloverhill District Court today, Ahmed remanded in Custody until November 1st. He is Charged with the Murder of Mary Ward. Under the Criminal Law (Jurisdiction) Act 1976, a person can be charged and tried in the Republic for offences allegedly committed in Northern Ireland.
