A NURSE who faked qualifications to land a senior NHS job looking after sick babies has been jailed for five years.

Tanya Nasir, 45, was paid more than £210,000 in wages before she was suspended in 2020.
The nurse also allegedly said she was shot while serving as a Major in AfghanistanShe fabricated degrees and experience to work as manager of the neonatal unit at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend, South Wales.
The mum of two, of Rickmansworth, Herts, previously made “false representations” to a hospital in West London.
She denied fraud but was found guilty of all nine counts at Merthyr crown court in July.
Judge Richard Kember said: “There was a risk for a catastrophic outcome for patients and staff.”
