A pervert snared in a sting by a paedophile hunter group has been freed from jail after a judge gave him a three-year probation order.

Sentencing Kevin Christy at Craigavon Crown Court on Friday, Judge Donna McColgan KC said the case would merit a 12-month sentence but as the 41-year-old had already served more than the equivalent on remand, that would mean he is only subject to supervision for six months.
