The funeral cortege. Dubliners packed the streets in the rain. It was Samhain week 100 years ago, on top of everything else the families had to endure.

The period covered in #ImagingConflict saw the 1st Irish revolution in which the public played such a key role documenting. These images are from a Republican funeral scenes showing 13 coffins lying in state in the Hardwicke Hall buried in Glasnevin. https://museum.ie/en-IE/Museums/
