X Pakistani taxi driver jailed for repeated sex attacks on woman (18) in Dublin cab jailed for 5 & half years Naveed Rana (42) pleaded guilty to three counts of sexually assaulting the 18-year-old woman in his taxi in Dublin in the early hours of October 11 last year. No mention of deportation. How did he get a Taxi Licence? Many are Asking, did he Get the Soft Touch, Irish Passport? Our thoughts are with the Young Victim, hope she Recovers from the Horrific Sexual Assault.

David Eagleman – The Brain and The Law. 8th March 2010. Comment: Our legal system is so out-of-date. Rehabilitation/Restorative Justice has not kept track with neuroscience and our prisons tend to be the only option for those who commit crime. Too many crimes are repetitive or recidivistic. This challenges people who are too rigid in their education and who are not interested in finding answers. There is an interesting example about a paedophile who had a massive tumour in the brain… “You are your biology and when your biology changes it can change your decision making”. Medications and Parkinsons and change of behaviours is also interesting especially when one considers this lecture dates back to 2010. An important word to think about is “automatism”.
