Another Comment just in, on the Ian Bailey Story. I hope they can solve this murder with advanced DNA techniques. If the cavity block was the murder weapon, there will be traces of the killer’s sweat / fibres from their gloves on it. However if it was merely spattered with blood, and wasn’t the weapon, they will still have to find the murder weapon. They should have kept the gate; it may have traces of DNA which they weren’t able to test using less advanced techniques – it may even have evidence they missed. Looks like they may also have to do more DNA tests on poor Sophie’s corpse.
