Very well Balanced Comment below, about the Big Debate, RTE, Thank you.

Richard Boyd Barrett, Mary Lou and Peader Toibin were the stars. Simon Harris and Michael Martin looked like two wealthy businessmen, which, despite the fact that their income comes from the taxpayer, is appropriate: they represent big business and corporate welfare.

Roderick and Ivana looked like stray puppies desperate for a home. Roderick was practically groveling beside Simon and looked hurt when his master ignored him, but the rich boys are done with their little mudguard. The Greens have no shame and will take any abuse as long as it gets their agenda to stick. Labour should know better after the last time in Govt.

Joan Collins, Michael Collins and Cian from Soc Dems made strong points.

If you are an ordinary voter and do not belong to a lobby group, you’ll find much to think about. I haven’t changed my mind about my 1st and 2nd prefs (Richard Boyd Barrett and Hugo Mills) but have moved Labour down to four and Sinn Fein up to three.

After that I am putting Aontu (I worry about their anti-vaxxers and their supporters who, if the comments below articles on the Gript website is any gauge, harbour a visceral hatred for childless women, vegetarians, south Dubliners and anyone who has a nuanced view on issues such as immigration).

I used to be Green and my family were long-time Labour supporters but both parties have abandoned their roots.
