Were the rebels in the GPO in 1916 regarded as thugs? How about the Fenians? Should rebels be polite and respectful to the police even when they regard the force as tools of an oppressive puppet regime controlled by a foreign power?
While we shouldn’t condone reckless vandalism, it’s worth pointing out that today’s journalism is tomorrow’s history. Fair Comment, Thank you.
