In the Irish asylum/immigration issue. If someone gets all the way to Ireland, first rule has got to be ‘no free stuff’. If you or your family didn’t pay in, you can’t expect to show up in Ireland and start to collect. Should there be a way to give an immediate ability to work if you aren’t immediately deported (and there needs to be a lot more of that)? Yes. But nothing ‘free’. We have to stop sending money into the exploitation racket. As for anyone that came in from the UK and is claiming any sort of welfare, they should be immediately deported back to the UK, no ifs ands or buts. We have to stop being morons. Vote smart tomorrow Ireland, your country depends on it.
