Men and women from around Ireland assembled peacefully at Wilson’s Hospital School, Co Westmeath Ireland where teacher Enoch Burke was suspended for not using they/them pronouns due to his Christian beliefs. His belief aligns with science and expert advice. Enoch has since spent over 500 days languishing in Mountjoy Prison. We call on Wilson’s Hospital School to reinstate Enoch’s position with immediate effect and to uphold their duty to safeguard children and respect their own ethos. We hand delivered a letter and a FOIA request to Deputy Principal John Galligan and the Board of Management.
