Big Drug Seizure in Cork, Man, 20s, and woman, 30s, arrested after Gardai seized €185,000 worth of ecstasy, and cocaine from Cork home.

GARDAI have seized a whopping €185,000 worth of ecstasy and cocaine as two are arrested.

Two individuals have been arrested following a search by Gardai in Douglas, Co Cork on Saturday, December 21.

Gardai discovered and seized a total of 15,000 ecstasy tablets, with an estimated street value of €150,000.

They also seized half a kilogramme of cocaine, with an estimated street value of €35,000.

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene for an offence contrary to Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977.

He is now being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda station in Cork City.
