‘More carnage on the roads’ – Heartbreak as St Stephen’s Day hit-and-run victims named locally as married couple, a Man is his 40,s is currently detained at a Garda Station in Dublin.

Gardai have arrested a man in his 40s in connection with the incident.

Anthony Hogg, 40, and his wife Georgina, 39, were both killed while crossing the road near Blanchardstown Shopping Centre at around 5.45pm yesterday.

Georgina Hogg Moore was pronounced dead at the scene while Anthony died overnight in hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
