It’s no surprise that the mosque reportedly attended by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the Islamic terrorist, is now urging people not to cooperate with the FBI. I recently highlighted how mosques, far from being mere places of worship, often serve as strategic hubs for jihadist operations. Across the world—from Lebanon to Western cities—mosques function as command centers for indoctrination and the spread of Islamic teachings aimed at subjugating non-believers. In the West, mosques like those tied to the 9/11 hijackers, Fort Hood shooter, and Boston bombers reveal a pattern: increased religiosity often correlates with violent outcomes. These institutions are not “hijacked by radicals”—they are fulfilling their intended purpose as outlined by Islamic doctrine. Devout religious adherence to these teachings leads to actions incompatible with Western values.
