Katherine Zappone was incredibly dismissive of survivors of child sexual abuse in St John Ambulance. Her response was cold and showed a complete lack of emotional intelligence. Anyone who fails to properly acknowledge and support survivors shouldn’t be trusted in the Seanad. Comment: What about Kyran Dornan, reported dead, but no body. Could this child have been trafficked? Disappeared aged 5 but only noticed missing over 2 years later. Services had this child on a list but negligence rings out hard.
