The hood — the fourth highest member of the Kinahan organisation after Daniel Kinahan, ‘Bomber’ Kavanagh and Sean McGovern — is also banned from using encrypted devices alongside informing the UK’s National Crime Agency of his current mobile number.

His use of mobile phones and other devices comes under the “restriction and notification of communication devices” section of his order. The restriction was made after he was hit with a Serious Crime Prevention Order following his release.

Under the order, Byrne is also to reside at his home address in the Midlands and also has to inform the authorities if he has applied for a new passport or ID card.

And he also has “restrictions in relation to firearms” and “prohibition from possession and trade of firearms”.
