The monster received a life sentence for the barbaric murder of mum-of-three Valerie, 41, at their home in Westport, Co Mayo, in June, 2019.However, he is still the executor of her estate and the sole owner of their shared €188,000 property.
But Valerie’s brother David, 55, will appear at the High Court next month as part of his efforts to remove Kilroy, 51, from any involvement in his sister’s financial affairs.
David initiated the legal proceedings after Kilroy — who tried to claim he was insane before he was found guilty of murder — refused to give up his role as executor.
Mr French, who is working closely with the families of other murder victims, believes the law should be changed to prevent killers from owning their marital homes once they have been convicted of murder.
