Young man seriously injured following Dublin city assault in early hours of Saturday morning

A young man has been left seriously injured following an assault in Dublin city in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred on Wexford St, Dublin 2 during the early hours of Saturday morning, 21st December. The man, aged in his early 20’s, is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries at Beaumont Hospital.

Gardai are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. The scene of the incident has been examined by local Scenes of Crime and no arrests have been made at this time.case
