Grim house of horrors case suspects flee mob into chipper forced to close briefly as dozens of protesters descend

The three men who were arrested in connection with the grim case were released without charge on Tuesday eveningA CHIPPER was forced to close down temporarily after suspects in the gruesome house of horrors case ran through it while fleeing a mob.

The business had to call gardai and pull down the shutter to their premises on Wednesday night.It is understood that the two men were spotted nearby and then ran through the chip shop and into the back yard of the premises in a Leinster town.

Officers shut down a busy road and diverted traffic as dozens of protestors gathered.

The Public Order Unit was called in to take the suspect away from the scene.

The scenes followed a large gathering of concerned residents earlier in the evening.The Irish Sun understands that the men have been rehoused.

It comes after gardai raided a home in the town and uncovered alleged sexual abuse and neglect, lifting three men aged in their 30s, 40s, and 50s on Monday.

It is feared that that children had been sexually assaulted there, while the property itself was in vile condition with some officers who searched it having to leave to get sick.

There was rubbish, dirty nappies, and soiled mattresses inside, while it’s understood toilets and sinks were blocked.
