Cleared more downed trees blocking a road this afternoon. This chainsaw has clocked some ‘mileage’ since Friday. Local area anger is rising. I was in Tuam earlier this morning, people I spoke with very angry, one guy in particular. Bank branches closed due to lack of power, suppliers needing to take cash in areas with no connectivity because credit/debit card payments can’t be processed. The one guy gave out yards about the clowns that want to take us to a cashless society but can’t get the power on. More people coming for boiling water (very welcome) as they’ve done without it for so many days.
