In Dec 2022 gardaí confirmed they were investigating a child abuse ring. In June 2023, University College Dublin published research that suggested there is an organised group of predators targeting girls in state care. They went as far as to compare it to the Rotherham scandal. Irish people need to start taking this seriously.
