In 2008/9 Europe had a chance to take a different path from the pathetic, weak, economically lethargic, visionless and defenseless ‘Lisbon Treaty’ formula. It baked in institutional sclerosis, it left Europe weak, visionless and vulnerable. I wanted a United States of Europe that would be strong, vigorous, dynamic. And I said so, while the brigades of morons called me ‘anti-European’. Now we have this shit show. And the chickens are coming home to roost, with the wolf packs following them.
