Fatal stabbing Dublin LIVE updates as man dead, another injured and Gardai seal scene off. Dublin a Dangerous City.

A man aged in his 30s has died after he was stabbed in Dublin city centre in the early hours of the morning. The fatal assault happened at around 3am on South Anne Street, near Grafton Street.

Gardai and emergency services were alerted to the scene and the man was rushed by ambulance to St James’ Hospital. Another man was also found with injuries and is recovering in hospital.

The scene is currently being held for examination by the Garda Technical Bureau. A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí responded to a serious public order incident on South Anne Street, Dublin 2, in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 15th February 2025.

“A man who was injured during the incident was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

“A second man is receiving treatment for injuries. Investigations are ongoing.”
