Posted by Five men have been arrested after a raidA MAJOR Garda probe is under way after a man was held captive and tortured on Thursday, the Irish Sun can reveal.
Investigators suspect the man was lured to a house in west Dublin on Thursday before he was beaten with baseball bats.Following the attack, Gardai swooped on a number of properties in west Dublin this morning.
Five men – aged in their 20s and one in his 40s – were arrested.
A house has also been sealed off for examination.
Over 100 Gardai were involved in this morning’s searches .One source said: “This was an extremely barbaric attack and the victim has suffered very serious injuries.
