This is the shocking moment a masked man can be seen brandishing a knife in a horror incident that led to another man being stabbed to death on a busy Dublin street.

Images from the scene also show a group of men scuffling just prior to the victim being killed on South Anne Street, near Grafton Street, at around 3am this morning.Mr Ó Ríordáin said: “The news of the incident on the streets of Dublin in the early hours of this morning is absolutely heartbreaking. First and foremost, my thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones. But we cannot ignore what this means for our city. People no longer feel safe in Dublin. Workers, visitors, and residents deserve better.Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have information about any of these incidents or has any mobile phone footage recorded at the relevant locations, and any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area or in the vicinity of Dawson Street and St. Stephens Green at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
