Just as ISIS was invading Mosul, this Bishop got a tip they were coming to burn down his church and everything in it. He gathered every ancient manuscript and artifact (like this bible dating back to 1300’s) and narrowly escaped by seconds! He showed me room after room of the rich biblical history that has been preserved! We cannot forget this land of our Christian heritage (Abraham, Noah, Jonah, Nahum, Peter, etc)
