A doctor who showed “complete and total disregard” for the State’s road traffic laws when caught behind the wheel two weeks after being disqualified from driving has been told he faces having to undertake 150 hours of community service or run the risk of a spell behind bars.
Edrin Iskandar (45), of 146 The Meadows, Pettiswood Manor, Mullingar, Co Westmeath, was given that stern warning by Judge Bernadette Owens at a sitting of Longford District Court after the father of five pleaded guilty to having no insurance or driver’s licence following an incident at Lisnagrish, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford on January 28, 2025.
