

@MarioN SECRET SERVICE AGENT WHO TRIED TO SAVE JFK, DIES AT 93 Clint Hill, the Secret Service agent who jumped onto JFK’s limo in a desperate attempt to protect JFK and First Lady Jackie Kennedy during the Dallas assassination on Nov. 22, 1963, has died at 93. Hill was in the motorcade when shots rang out. As JFK was hit, he leapt onto the presidential limousine under gunfire, trying to shield Jackie. The trauma haunted him for decades. Hill: “I should have done more. I should have gotten there quickly, but I know I’m not faster than a speeding bullet. But that causes me guilt that is difficult to live with.” He served five presidents—Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and Ford—and spent his later years ensuring the real story of JFK’s assassination was told.
