The two Wans are obviously a bit nuts but the spitting thing and her confirming “I didn’t miss”, that’s an assault and a punishable crime. As for the obvious ‘hate’ element, I’m opposed to the ‘hate crime’ concept and hard as it is, I oppose it here too. However, the assault is clear and there are witnesses so I hope the state makes a point of prosecuting this and then it’ll be down to the judge to weigh how far to go on the sentence if the assailant is proven guilty. This person needs to go to prison and be given some time to reflect there.
