AIR CANADA ACCIDENTALLY ERASED ISRAEL FROM ITS MAPS Air Canada has come under fire after passengers discovered that in-flight maps on its Boeing 737 MAX fleet failed to display Israel, instead labeling the area as “Palestinian territories.” The airline confirmed the issue affected 40 aircraft and was traced back to a third-party map provider working with French aerospace company Thales. Air Canada quickly deactivated the maps and announced a correction would be implemented.
