PENTAGON RESTORES JACKIE ROBINSON PAGE AFTER DEI PURGE The Department of Defense pulled Jackie Robinson’s WWII service article during a site-wide purge of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) content—then quickly restored it. The piece, celebrating Robinson’s Army service and legacy, vanished alongside pages on the Tuskegee Airmen and Navajo Code Talkers. Pentagon Press Secretary John Ullyot: “We salute their service, period. We do not view them through race, ethnicity, or sex.” Ullyot called DEI “Discriminatory Equity Ideology” that erodes cohesion.
