They call each of us Kafir to insult us—let us be proud Kafirs! I am a Kafir because I do not believe in the following: •That it is permissible to beat women. •That a woman’s intelligence is half that of a man’s. •That the majority of women will go to hell. •That those who leave the faith should be killed. •That a thief’s hand should be amputated. •That those who commit adultery should be lashed or stoned. •That those who cause “mischief in the land” should be crucified. •That war should be waged against non-believers until they submit. •That those who refuse to convert should be killed, and their wives and children taken as slaves to be owned and sold. •That it is acceptable to marry a six-year-old girl. •That Jews are our enemies until the end of time. •That we cannot take Jews and Christians as friends.
