Meet Daniel Zaïdani, the random Island politician who has just rocked EU & French demo His court case just became the legal nuke that knocked Marine Le Pen out of the 2027 race. He is a small-time politician from Mayotte, a French “overseas department” in the Indian Ocean. Zaïdani got convicted in 2021 for shady low level deals while in office. He received a sentence of an €80,000 fine and a five-year ban from holding public office. He appealed his case and claimed he was entitled to hold office during his appeal. This triggered a French constitutional challenge. Three days ago, on March 28, France’s Constitutional Council ruled that politicians convicted of crimes must be IMMEDIATELY barred from holding public office, EVEN while appeals are pending. Today, March 31, Marine Le Pen is found guilty and barred from office!! Timing is everything folks!
