Ahmed ‘should never have been released back into the community’A MIGRANT accused of sexual assault has swerved justice by fleeing the UK.
Prosecutors have dropped charges against Adnan Ahmed, after admitting to magistrates the 37-year-old had left the country.A CPS spokeswoman said: “It was determined the case could no longer continue.”
Ahmed was first due before Poole magistrates in December accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a B&B in Portland, Dorset, last August.
At the time of the alleged assault he was living on the Bibby Stockholm barge used to house asylum seekers.
When he failed to turn up, a warrant was issued.
