If you cared about Navalny, you should care about Le Pen. Lawfare isn’t left or right. It’s a weapon & it’s being used. In 2013, Alexei Navalny was convicted of embezzling timber from a Russian state company. It was widely condemned as politically motivated. Today, Marine Le Pen has been convicted of embezzling EU funds through fake parliamentary jobs. Supporters claim it’s politically motivated. BOTH barred from running for office. Lawfare is real. If you don’t like Le Pen, that’s fine. But don’t celebrate the state deciding who you get to vote for.
