l 3 years ago today Muslim immigrant Yousef Palani started murdering the first of 12 gay Irish men he had on a list of targets. Before his spree of terror was finished 2 men would be dead and another stabbed in the eye. Palani specifically targeted Irish men, even asking the victims to confirm they were Irish. Aidan Moffitt was found dead and mutilated on April 11th after meeting Palani on the 10th. He had been decapitated and his head left facing the door, which would later be found by relatives. He had also been stabbed 42 times. Michael Snee was found tied up and mutilated on the floor of his bedroom. Palani had placed two knives on the bed in the shape of a cross. In the days that followed we learned that Palani had met and attacked a third man on April 9th. Anthony Burke escaped but not before he was stabbed in the eye by Palani. During his trial it was revealed he had went to his mosque to pray after his attacks and €350,000 cash was found in his home. His father is currently suing the state for the cash to be returned. Palani, from Iraq, is serving 2 life sentences plus 20 years.
