My dad died this morning, peacefully, at home beside my mom. His head was on her pillow when she woke & found him gone. He was a giant of a man–flew Phantoms in Vietnam, served on the front lines of the Cold War for 30+ years, & still managed to be the best dad a son could ask for. I will miss him.
