Giorgia Meloni.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni says “this news saddens us deeply”.

“I had the privilege of enjoying his friendship,” she adds in the statement.

Meloni adds “he asked the world, once again, for the courage to change direction, to follow a path that ‘does not destroy, but cultivates, repairs, protects'”.

“His teaching and his legacy will not be lost. We greet the Holy Father with hearts full of sadness, but we know that he is now in the peace of the Lord.”

  1. 3 points about the recently departed Pope:

Pope Francis ignored the dossier compiled by Pope Emeritus Benedict into child abuse by clergy worldwide. The journalist who handed it to Pope Francis was an atheist who had been selected by Pope Benedict as the messenger on grounds of impartiality and mutual respect. When asked about it by other journalists (on the plane en route home from his trip to Ireland), Pope Francis hid behind his press officer and didn’t answer.

The Pachamama ceremony in the Vatican was an act of gross sacrilege. Pope Francis worshipped a Pagan cannibal goddess who represents Satanism in that Satanists put Nature above her Creator. This is abhorrent not only to Catholics and Christians in general but to Jews and Muslims. We all believe in God. We all believe Nature is to be treated kindly, not worshipped. Some of the formerly pagan converts who had travelled from South America walked out of the Vatican in disgust as the Pope preached syncretism, in effect telling them that their new-found faith was worthless – that they needn’t have converted.

One of Pope Francis’s first acts on taking office was to have the papal robes redesigned to incorporate a symbol used by paedophiles to discreetly communicate their preferences. The symbol is two triangles, the larger surrounding the smaller. I wanted to write about this for an Irish newspaper but my editor (at the Sun) said we would have to hold the piece until I got a response from the Vatican Press Office. Like the questions from other journalists, like the Dubbia from learned clergy (and indeed like Pope Benedict’s dossier), my brief email was ignored. The article was spiked.
