I’m French. When I come to visit Ireland, it’s to meet Irish people, enjoy Irish culture, Irish food, Irish beer, Irish landscapes. Saying “Ireland is for the Irish” is just basic common sense, and basic decency. But saying “Ireland for the Irish is disgraceful”? That actually sounds fascist to my ears.
