This was the once beautiful Finnstown Country House in Lucan. It was sold to Jim Mansfield in 2007 but after the “crash” City West was sized by NAMA but he managed to hold onto Finnstown for another number of years but NAMA finally got it. After a few years of it being let out to a American hotel chain it was sold for a song back to Mansfields and partners. After another few years of them successfully running it a deal was done with the government to use it as a homeless hub but “refugees” have also been moved in. Bunk beds were ferried in so a hotel with an occupancy of 140 max now has 500 souls crammed in living in appalling conditions.
