A FRESH plea for information on the disappearance and murder of Kyran Durnin has been made on the missing boy’s ninth birthday.
The Mayor of Drogheda made a passionate appeal today for anyone with information about Kyran’s murder to contact gardai immediately.
Officers are not ruling bringing charges against some of the suspects, such as withholding information and using a false alibi

Councillor Paddy McQuillian issued the new appeal on the ninth birthday of the missing boy.
It is now almost three years since the youngster was last seen alive and gardai say there is a “conspiracy of silence” trying to stop them finding his body.
In a statement, Mayor McQuillian said: “On this day which is Kyran Durnin’s ninth birthday I urge all citizens from Drogheda and beyond to contact the Gardai should they have any information on the whereabouts of Kyran.
“No matter how insignificant you may think the information you have is, it may assist gardai in discovering what happened to this poor boy.”
