I am a renter. Rent caps have helped me. But they’ve also trapped me. I can’t afford to move because there’s nowhere to go. If I’m not moving then others aren’t either. Supply is locked-in. Rent caps are a short term defensive solution to a long term problem that needs all out ATTACK ! HOUSING IS AN EMERGENCY. If they can create planning exemptions for IPAS centres then they can do it for houses. CUT THE TAPE CUT THE VAT BUILD BABY BUILD
