– The Algerian man who attempted to sue
wrongly linked to Parnell Square attack was in court again, for a different matter. Abdelhafid Bensaada was before Trim District court and prosecuted with a breach of public order for threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour. Bensaada handed over a threatening and “traumatising” letter to a store worker saying “you will pay for what you did today”. Gript did not name the man in its article but published detailed and specific information about him. He was subsequently identified and named on social media by other people unrelated to the website.
