Pat Corcoran former art and culture convicted of Child Porn

Patrick Corcoran, a former civil servant at the Department of Arts, Sport, and Tourism in Ireland, was convicted in 2013 for possessing over 7,000 images and 21 videos of child pornography. The material was discovered in 2009 on his work computer and at his home, with additional items found in 2012. He received a three-and-a-half-year suspended sentence, avoiding jail time, with a warning from Judge Martin Nolan that reoffending would result in imprisonment. Corcoran was also a prominent pro-abortion activist with Choice Ireland, known for aggressive behavior at protests, and continued attending events post-arrest. Pro-abortion groups later distanced themselves from him, with limited public statements.
