THE Garda Commissioner says the probe into Tina Satchwell’s murder will be reviewed after her remains laid in a makeshift grave under the stairs of her home for six years.

Drew Harris admitted that in “hindsight” some elements of the case “can seem very obvious”, but the initial investigation was “hamstrung”.Garda chief Harris understands why concerns have been raised as to why her body was only discovered in her Youghal home in October 2023, despite the fact it was searched over six years beforehand.
