 Jim Sheridan Hollywood is buzzing with news that Irish director Jim Sheridan’s (In America, My Left Foot) next feature film will be an Irish mafia drama set in New York entitled ‘Emerald City’. Variety reports the film is a Radar Pictures and Relevant Entertainment production and is inspired by true events that took place in the world of organised crime in the notorious Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of NYC. Writer Lukas Reiter (Boston Legal, The Practice) has penned the script. Sheridan is currently filming ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ with rapper 50 Cent which loosely based upon 50’s gangster life before his rise to fame as a rap star. | |
