Trump must surely know that Iran did not budge during 8 years of the most ruthless war against the US-backed Saddam Hussein (lest we forget!). Iran will not capitulate now, even if Trump unleashes B52s carrying 30k pound bombs. His reputation with the MAGA base is toast.
