I hope the Kinvara residents win this case. The Government’s policy of forcing small towns and villages to take in large numbers of asylum seekers, of which 80% aren’t genuine, is destroying communities and this lunacy has to stop. 95% of TDs are silent.

Kinvara residents Ruth Sexton, Mary Boyce, Chris Hartnett Dalton and Paul Collins are seeking permission to challenge the recent decision to place up to 98 people in the Merriman Hotel, which is currently home to about 50 Ukrainian people
